We recently engaged a computer / dissemination expert who suggested that we switch our weekly updates on the www.strawberryhill.net site from written stories to a video format. In order to fulfill this mandate we opened a ‘Youtube’ and a ‘Twitter’ account using the alias’ ‘Ericbowater’ and ‘Urbanbayman’. The snow gods smiled upon Utah this past week! Most locations picked up 4-5ft.+ of bottomless powder. It was a good weekend to have a turbo and extra gas to say the least. If you made it past the parking lot and the hordes of stuck vehicles and vintage snowmobiles, the best snow of the season was waiting. If you are heading into the backcountry, the avalanche danger is through the roof all over the western U.S. Stick to the trees and the mellow terrain until things settle out!
